Multidisciplinary, self-taught, and always evolving, Tyler consistently maintains a heavy illustrative style that transcends his medium of choice. Growing up on the Pacific Northwest and coming of age during the 90’s, Tyler drew inspiration from both the art and culture of the surrounding First Nations and the artists that fueled the second-wave skateboarding subculture. From pen and paper to more recent works using acrylics on wood veneers and hand made paper, Tyler continues to explore the mellow side of symbolism, applying bold shapes to natural surfaces. Basement musician, nascent bilinguist, aspiring agrarian, and all around dedicated family man; Tyler lives and creates in Kelowna, BC.
